[ from here, in the middle of actually playing a card game! With cutesy "bless this nest" tablemats as a game board, a drawn scale, and a suspiciously similar to Echidna summoning bell that Yor has just rung to end her turn ]

Now what?

[It is for sure just an Echidna bell. An Echidna could show up at any moment. But Stoat pays no attention to this. (Also, it has never actually tried ringing the bell. For all it knows this bell exists only to play card games.)]

I take one point of damage.

[Rolling the pencil to indicate the damage! And then going through its phase without explanation:

1. It draws 3 cards.
2. It plays a squirrel.
3. It discards the squirrel and plays a warren.
4. A new card appears in its hand LITERALLY OUT OF NOWHERE. It is a Rabbit. It plays the rabbit.
5. It discards both the warren and the rabbit to bring out a Hawk, which costs 2 blood, and is 3/1 and flying. It plays this in an empty lane that is not opposite the stoat. But it plays it in the furthest row—the "preview" row, of what it will be playing next turn.]

Remember that this isn't going to come onto the board until next turn, since I'm taking on different rules from you. You're going to want to find some way to counter this hawk before it appears.

[And it rings the bell again.]

No damage for you. Draw one card.

[If she does, she will draw an Adder—1/1, 2 blood, with Touch of Death.]

[ since Stoat played the warren just three seconds ago that is fresh enough in Yor's mind to try and copy. she draws a squirrel, sets it down, then puts the warren over it. ]

That's how it's supposed to work, right? I-I can't really move the stoat card over, can I?

some people's monsters are acting up as well, including mine. if any of your teammates have gaps in their memory that should be investigated.]

[ this comes hours later because she still doesn't have a lot of experience with the phones...or texting...and also she's been having A Time ]

but that's also gathering potential monsters in one place so i don't know if you want to take the risk. we don't know how they feel about each other when they're out either
